Polaroid Insta-Share Printer (Moto Mod) Review

Moto Mods have quickly become my favorite thing in mobile given the awesome features they bring to an otherwise average phone lineup, but with add-ons like Polaroid cameras, this concept is definitely worth a chance.

The Polaroid Insta-Share Printer is a Moto Mod that turns a Motorola Moto Z phone into a Polaroid camera that doesn’t need more than just a few taps to actually print your photos on the go.

Polaroid cameras have been extremely popular all over the world since they’re capable of printing a photo on the spot, so when bringing such capabilities to a mobile device, it’s certainly an idea that can’t go unnoticed.

I tried out the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer with the Moto Z3 Play that I already reviewed and which, in just a few words, is the kind of device that doesn’t cost a fortune and boasts surprising capabilities.

Support for the Moto Mods is one of them, and those who’ve tried this already know how awesome it is to be able to just attach an add-on to... (read more)

Dodocool DA163 USB Gaming Headset Review

If you’re in the market looking for affordable gaming headphones, your only option is to check out the offering of Chinese manufacturers, as top-rated brands typically sell such gear for more than the majority of people are willing to spend. While there was a time when Chinese companies were all about copying the products launched by more high-profile brands across the world, there are now a few names that are trying to conquer international markets with their own products based on a more or less successful mix of low price and high quality. Dodocool is one of the firms that are trying to do this, though judging from the price tag of their products, you might think otherwise. In many cases, a low price is considered an indicator of questionable quality, so when hearing about a gaming headset that costs $35 , you really can’t expect more. The read more )

TicWatch C2 Review

If you’re new to the smartwatch market, TicWatch is one of those brands that do not cost a fortune, but on the other hand, provide customers with a pretty appealing feature package that you normally find on a  premium device. Typically, a mix of advanced features and affordable pricing is something that you most often find on Chinese products, and this is exactly the case here too. TicWatch is made by Mobvoi, a Chinese company that develops AI technology and voice recognition systems, all of which are based on the know-how of experts who previously worked for tech giants like Google and Nokia. Mobvoi has rapidly evolved from a single-watch brand to a company that has a rich portfolio of products, and the TicWatch C2 is part of the firm’s offensive in the modern wearable market. It’s not supposed to be an Apple Watch killer, as this has more or less become the norm in the smartwatch market, but a p... ( read more )

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro Review - Beating Chronic Laziness

The wearable biz has grown at a super-fast pace in the last couple of years, and Samsung has been trying to be one of the top players here from the very beginning. This year, the South Korean firm released updates to all of its devices, and in addition to the Gear S3, which is one of the most advanced smartwatches to date, it also took the wraps off another fitness band that’s specifically focused on activity tracking. As compared to the Gear S3, which tries to mix the best of two worlds, smartwatches and activity trackers, the Gear Fit2 Pro does the same thing but with an obvious fondness for training and exercises. A successor to the Gear Fit2, which it actually replaces in Samsung’s line of wearables, the Fit2 Pro is an upgraded model that doesn’t necessarily look entirely different but comes with some welcome improvements that are mostly aimed at its activity tracking side. The Gear Fit2 Pro is available for $199 and comes in two colors that are more or less ... ( read more
